In addition to the free content and online tools available on the Website, EngiSphere offers digital products for purchase ("Paid Products") and downloadable versions of its online tools available at no charge in exchange for an email address ("Free Downloadable Products"). Digital Products are standalone, self-contained Single Page Applications delivered as downloadable HTML files. They run entirely in the user's web browser, require no installation, no internet connection, no account, and no activation. They contain no telemetry, analytics, tracking, or Digital Rights Management (DRM).
The terms in this section apply to all Digital Products. They supplement — and in the event of conflict take precedence over — the general Website terms above.
All purchases of Paid Products are processed through Paddle.com (Paddle Payments Ltd / Paddle.com Market Ltd), which acts as the Merchant of Record. This means that the contractual sale — including payment processing, VAT/sales tax calculation, collection, invoicing, and remittance — is between the buyer and Paddle. Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms (available at paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms) govern the purchase transaction. EngiSphere is the creator and provider of the product; Paddle is the legal seller.
When you purchase a Paid Product, you receive a permanent, downloadable HTML file and a personal license to use it (see the License Agreement at engisphere.com/product-license/). There is no subscription, no expiration, no activation, and no mechanism by which EngiSphere or Paddle can revoke access to a file you have already downloaded.
Prices are listed on each product's page in the stated currency. Paddle calculates and adds applicable VAT, GST, sales tax, or other consumption taxes at checkout based on your location. EngiSphere does not control tax calculation; this is managed entirely by Paddle.
Upon successful payment, the product file is delivered immediately via Paddle's download fulfillment system. You will receive a download link on the confirmation page and by email. You are responsible for saving the downloaded file. We recommend keeping a backup copy, as the file itself is the product.
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), consumers ordinarily have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. However, per Article 16(m), this right does not apply to the supply of digital content not on a tangible medium once performance has begun, provided the consumer gave prior express consent to begin delivery and acknowledged the loss of the withdrawal right. Paddle's checkout process requests and records this consent. By completing your purchase and initiating the download through Paddle's checkout, you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you waive your right of withdrawal once the download begins.
If you have not yet downloaded the file, you may contact Paddle within 14 days to exercise your right of withdrawal in accordance with Paddle's refund policy. Since June 19, 2026, EU Directive 2023/2673 requires traders to provide an electronic withdrawal function. Because Paddle is the Merchant of Record and the legal seller, withdrawal requests are handled through Paddle's buyer support at paddle.net.
Because our products are DRM-free files delivered instantly, we cannot verify whether a file has been used, copied, or retained after a refund. Our refund approach, operated in coordination with Paddle, is as follows:
If within 72 hours of purchase the product does not function as described on its product page — for example, it fails to open in a current version of Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari, or a described feature is missing or non-functional — you may request a refund by contacting us. We will either resolve the issue or coordinate a refund through Paddle.
We do not offer refunds for change of mind, incompatibility with outdated or non-standard browsers, expectation of features not listed in the product description, or having already obtained equivalent functionality from the free version.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
Paid Products are sold as-is at the version available on the date of purchase. The product file is standalone, with no auto-update mechanism and no connection to our servers. We are under no obligation to provide future updates, patches, or compatibility fixes. If we choose to release a new version, whether existing buyers receive it and at what cost is at our sole discretion.
We provide reasonable good-faith support for questions about product functionality via email. This does not include engineering tutoring, custom development, or assistance with your specific projects or datasets.
Certain online tools available on the Website (such as the Stress-Strain Curve Generator) may also be offered as downloadable HTML files at no charge. Free Downloadable Products are subject to the same Engineering Disclaimer as Paid Products (see engisphere.com/product-license/).
For each Paid Product, we publish a SHA-256 cryptographic checksum on the product page. You can verify that any copy of the file you hold is the genuine, unmodified version by comparing its checksum against the published value. Any file producing a different checksum has been modified and is not covered by our license terms or support.
