About Us

A Shared Engineering Culture

EngiSphere is an educational engineering blog created with one simple belief: engineering as more than technical execution. A strong engineering culture also requires curiosity, perspective, and the ability to look beyond a single specialty.

This perspective is inspired by the work of Spanish philosopher José Ortega y Gasset, who reflected on the consequences of excessive specialization in modern professions. In The Revolt of the Masses (1930), he described the figure of the “learned ignoramus” — someone highly skilled in a narrow area, yet disconnected from the broader landscape of knowledge.

This idea reflects the core philosophy of EngiSphere: a cultivated engineer is shaped not only by depth of expertise, but by the capacity to understand, connect, and engage with ideas across engineering disciplines.

Our Story

Anass
EngiSphere was founded by Anass ELMOHAMMADI, a civil engineer with professional experience in project management across multiple industries, including: solar energy, biomass energy, water infrastructure, and automotive production.
Throughout this journey, one insight became clear: modern engineering problems rarely belong to a single discipline. They live at the intersection of systems, technologies, people, and decisions. EngiSphere was born to reflect that reality.

Our Mission

Our mission is to simplify engineering knowledge and make innovation accessible.

At EngiSphere, we aim to:

  • Explain engineering concepts in a clear, friendly, and structured way
  • Highlight innovation trends across all engineering fields
  • Bridge theory, practice, and future-oriented thinking

We believe engineering education should evolve continuously.

Beyond Technical Knowledge

Engineering is not only about equations, models, and systems. It is also about people, judgment, and responsibility.

That is why EngiSphere also emphasizes:

  • Emotional and professional intelligence for engineers
  • Decision-making, leadership, and ethical awareness
  • The human side of engineering work

A strong engineer is both technically capable and emotionally aware.

Calculators & Educational Tools

EngiSphere develops engineering calculators and digital tools designed to be:

  • Functional
  • Educational
  • Easy to understand

These tools provide reasonable and illustrative results, helping users learn concepts and explore scenarios.
However, they are not intended for precise professional or contractual use, but rather as learning and exploration aids.

Content Creation & Editorial Approach

The main content of EngiSphere is created by EngiSphere Research Editors — a collective identity representing professional engineers who use AI-powered tools responsibly to:

  • Simplify complex ideas
  • Explain advanced topics clearly
  • Make educational content efficiently

Our approach can be summarized as:

Simplify. Explain. Make.

About the R&D Section

In the R&D section, EngiSphere presents accessible explanations of recent engineering studies across a wide range of disciplines.

These papers are selected to:

  • Highlight future directions and emerging trends
  • Inspire engineers to think beyond their current field
  • Connect academic research with practical understanding

The selection process reflects personal editorial perspectives, not formal academic standards or rankings. Our goal is insight and relevance, not completeness.

Our Vision

EngiSphere envisions a new generation of engineers who are:

  • Technically grounded
  • Broadly educated
  • Curious across disciplines
  • Ready for a rapidly evolving world

If you believe engineering is more than a single specialization, you are already part of the EngiSphere.
